- Through our trade programs, seminars on all aspects of international business, and business briefings, WTCNO members have access to experts in all areas of international business, as well as visiting dignitaries from all over the world. WTCNO members are the first to know about these programs and are eligible to register at a discounted rate.
- The WTCNO offers information on trade statistics globally and country-to-country, import/export trends, and business interests at home and abroad.
- The WTC sponsors numerous international trade seminars and workshops throughout the year, which are offered at reduced rates to members. The WTC also holds a regular series of luncheon briefings featuring visiting ambassadors, senior U.S. government officials, and trade delegations from other countries. - In order to directly connect WTCNO members to the mission of the organization and provide a forum for discussion of substantive issues related to international trade, the WTCNO has a number of Advisory Committees that report to the Board of Directors. WTCNO committees are composed of individuals who provide advice and expertise in specific areas and on particular issues. These committees, including Government Affairs, International Business, Membership/Plimsoll Club, Transportation, and Finance were formed with the intent of serving all aspects of the WTCNO mission.
- The WTCNO can facilitate introductions of members to potential clients and connect members to consultants that can instruct them on the steps to expanding their business globally.
- The WTCNO hosts and promotes trade and social missions all over the world. Trade missions allow members to join delegations in an effort to expand their businesses globally. Social missions are planned from arrival to departure, and give members a chance to enjoy and learn about cities and countries abroad.
- WTCNO supports expanding international trade, promoting free and fair trade, preventing copyright infringement, protecting intellectual property rights, and increasing opportunities to market the products and professional services of industries to overseas customers. Our organization provides a voice for your business and works hard to ensure the best possible conditions for Louisiana’s international business community.
