"Into
Africa" is designed to introduce area companies to trade and
investment opportunities in Africa. The conference will begin at
9:30 a.m. with a plenary session, where the Ambassadors from Angola,
Ethiopia, Lesotho, Namibia, Nigeria, and the Republic of Congo will
discuss business opportunities in their countries. These speakers
will be followed by representatives from the Overseas Private
Investment Corporation, the Export-Import Bank, the U.S. Trade and
Development Agency, and the African Development Bank outlining their
respective Africa initiatives. Congressman Jefferson will address
the luncheon that follows, and sector breakouts led by the
Ambassadors and finance agency representatives will conclude the
program in the afternoon.
