About Don Laurvick
As Vice President of International Business Development for
United Parcel Service, based in Atlanta, Donald Laurvick directs
Business Development efforts for U.S. exports and imports. He works
closely with UPS offices in the Canada, Asia, Europe, and Latin
America and the Caribbean regions.
Mr. Laurvick began his UPS career in 1973 as a package car
driver. He has held various positions in Business Development
including director of Sales for the Sacramento Valley, North Ohio,
North Central United States, and Europe.
In 1996, Mr. Laurvick was promoted to Vice President of Sales for
Europe. He directed the sales expansion of UPS in Europe, Middle
East, and Africa. He also helped to introduce a Pan European service
portfolio and helped to merge two UPS regions in Europe into one.
Mr. Laurvick assumed his current position in 1999.
Mr. Laurvick was raised in Yakima, Washington and attended Yakima
Valley College, where he studied Business Administration and
Marketing.
