The City of Querétaro, Mexico, which is
well-known for its exquisite stone craft, has donated a
beautiful stone fountain to the City of New Orleans. The
Friends of Querétaro Fountain Task Force is working to
install the fountain in the Mississippi River Heritage Park on
Convention Center Boulevard. The realization of this
project will be a testament to the strong ties between our two
regions. You will learn more about this project at the
September 24 luncheon program. If you cannot attend and would
like to become involved and contribute to this exciting
community project, please call Henry Patron, Chairman of
the Friends of Querétaro Fountain Task Force, at (504)
