As the U.S. House of Representatives prepares for a vote on
the U.S.-Central American - Dominican Republic Free Trade
Agreement, the International Center of Lafayette will brief the
business community on this important issue, and particularly how
it will affect South Louisiana.
The forum will present a balanced spectrum of pro and con
opinions from various business sectors, including sugar, rice,
manufacturing and food processing industry leaders. Also
participating in the forum will be representatives from the
transportation industry and various international trade groups.
