SWEDISH TRADE MISSION & BUSINESS EXPO

The common business objective for the 15 Swedish companies visiting Lafayette and New Orleans is to introduce state-of-the-art products and technologies for hurricane-related revitalization efforts and preventive measures (see below for list of participating companies).

The companies have an array of interests, including partnering with Louisiana companies, establishing a U.S. subsidiary, marketing their products through a distributor in the state, and having Louisiana companies manufacture their products.

Louisiana businessmen and women who wish to pursue trade opportunities with the Swedish companies, hear their presentations, and have one-on-one meetings with their representatives at no charge should plan to attend.

The trade mission is sponsored by the Swedish Inventors Association in conjunction with the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce South Central United States. Louisiana Economic Development, Le Centre International de Lafayette, and the World Trade Center are the Louisiana host organizations.
