Venezuela
ranks among the top three worldwide markets for U.S.-made oil and
gas field machinery, averaging in recent years close to half a
billion dollars in imports from the U.S. Natural gas exploration
equipment, heavy crude producing and upgrading technologies,
oil/gas deepwater equipment and services, sub-sea technologies,
oil industry boat designers, rigs, and deep conversion
technologies for refineries are the types of equipment and
services currently in great demand. A briefing by the U.S.
Commercial Service Venezuela and the President of the Venezuelan
Petroleum Chamber at the luncheon programs will provide critical information on the oil and
gas industry in Venezuela and details of key opportunities for
Louisiana companies.
